Return to the Towers

Just another Serial Entry. Please note i mean no offence to the people mentioned here, but these are actions i simply see them taking.

The Portal Room in Evergreen Towers was considered the dustiest place in the whole tower. Although the team usually went to other dimensions, interdimensional debris usually winds up in the dark chamber.

Probationary members are usually put on rotation watching the monitors for the room. Usually, these novice heroes are bored to death with the sight of a dust cloud popping in from time to time, but nothing usually happens.

Until today.

It was Jimmy's turn on rotation today, and he noticed that something far larger and solid than an insignificant dust cloud was coming through.

Through the dust, the shillouette of something about twelve feet high could be made out coming through the portal.

Of course, Jimmy pressed the alarm. The doors burst when Savage and Sonic came in, escorted by their trainees Dushanth and Darren. Guns came from the walls, ready to fire at the intruder.

However, when the dust cleared, they found a force none could handle: Am in a horribly BAD mood.

The robotic Exoskeleton belonging to Aerodus was scathed badly, with his chest unit ripped open. Also, one of the gattling guns had also been removed. Bullet holes lined along his body, and as a bonus, he was cloaked in mud.

As a bonus, he had something in his arms: a human.

After the girl, later identified as Hannah from Am's older team, was brought into intensive care, Am and Aerodus were rushed to debriefing.

"A swamp," Robert said.

"You heard me," Am said. "Some nutcase professor was creating an army of swamplife ready to blow us to hell,"

Outside, Hannah confronted Dushanth and Darren.

"Where is that overgrown light bulb?" she yelled. "That idiot almost cost me my life!"

Dushanth looked Hannah in the eye.

"Look, whatever went down between you two doesn't entirely matter here," he said, his voice unnaturally grim. "To this organisation, he's a war hero,"

Darren looked at Hannah, and softly said, "He's just a hurt soul looking for some purpose."

Hannah scoffed. In her organisation, Am was listed as a criminal charged with insubordination and high treason. Technically, he was already marked for death. However, several clashes proved that almost this entire team were insubordinate members of the same group who left greater things than military conquest.

But that would be life, as they say.
